Privacy and data use
Privacy Notice
Effective August 14, 2026
This notice explains how Final Expense Options, the licensed life insurance agent assigned to assist you in your state, and the service providers used to deliver your request collect, use, protect, and share information submitted through this website.
We use your information to respond to your request and compare possible insurance options. We do not sell submitted leads to unrelated agents, and health answers are not sent to Meta or other advertising platforms.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, birth date, sex at birth, phone number, email address, preferred call time, home address, coverage goal, budget range, general payment-account category, height, weight, tobacco use, and the high-level health conditions you select. We also record your consent choices, submission time, campaign identifiers, IP address, and browser information for security and compliance.
This quote request does not ask for Social Security numbers, bank or routing numbers, bank names, balances, payment-card numbers, medication names, medical records, or account passwords. Please do not enter that information here. If you later decide to apply for a policy, the selected insurance carrier may request some of these details through its secure application process.
Where the information comes from
Most information comes directly from you. We may also receive non-sensitive campaign information from the advertisement or link that brought you to this website. If you later apply for coverage, the insurance carrier may collect additional information under its own application and privacy notices.
Why we use it
- Respond to your request and contact you at the number you provided.
- Review possible life insurance options and prepare for the phone conversation.
- Document consent, prevent misuse, maintain required records, and comply with law.
- Send information to the carrier you select if you separately choose to apply.
Health information and HIPAA
This is a life insurance request, not a health-care service or patient portal. Life insurance companies and producers are generally not HIPAA covered entities solely because they collect health information for life insurance. Even when HIPAA does not apply, health and insurance information remains sensitive and is handled under applicable insurance privacy, data-security, contract, and consumer-protection requirements.
Who may receive information
Information may be available to the licensed life insurance agent assigned to assist you in your state and to service providers used to host the website, securely deliver the request, store it in a private Google Sheet, operate the approved CRM, prevent fraud, and support authorized communications. Those providers should receive only what is necessary to perform their function and must be reviewed for appropriate confidentiality and security terms.
A new-lead notification may be sent to the assigned agent’s private business email. That notification is limited to a contact and request summary and intentionally excludes health conditions, height, weight, tobacco use, birth date, and street address. Sensitive details remain in the restricted lead system.
If you decide to apply, relevant information may be provided to the insurance carrier you select and to authorized insurance-processing partners. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate fraud or security incidents.
Advertising measurement and your choice
The public information page and the clean request-confirmation page offer optional Meta advertising measurement. Meta measurement is off unless you select “Allow measurement.” You can change that choice by selecting “Privacy choices” in the public-page footer.
If allowed, the browser may send only general events showing that a public page was viewed, a request was started, or a request was completed. After a successful submission, our server may send the same general completed-request event with a matching event ID so Meta can count it once. Limited technical data—such as IP address, browser information, and Meta click or browser identifiers—may accompany the event.
The private request route does not load Meta Pixel, session replay, or third-party advertising scripts. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, birth dates, sex, street addresses, coverage amounts, budgets, payment-account answers, height, weight, tobacco use, health answers, form-field values, and the color confirmation answer are not sent to Meta. We do not use automatic advanced matching.
If you allowed Meta measurement, later positive milestones recorded by the assigned agent—such as an appointment, application, or completed policy purchase—may be sent as general outcome events through the Conversions API. Disqualification reasons, payment-account information, premium amounts, health information, and chargeback details are never included in those events.
Security
The production website must use HTTPS, restrictive browser-security headers, server-side validation, and server-to-server lead delivery. CRM access should be limited to authorized users and protected with multi-factor authentication. No security method can guarantee that information will never be accessed improperly.
Retention
Quote-request and consent records are scheduled for deletion after five years unless a shorter period is appropriate or a longer period is required for an active customer relationship, insurance or communications compliance, carrier or IMO requirements, fraud prevention, or a legal dispute. Service providers may keep limited backup copies for a short period under their own retention controls.
Your choices and access rights
You may ask to access or correct recorded personal information, request deletion where applicable, or withdraw future contact permission. Some records may be retained when required for compliance or legal purposes. To make a request, email hello@talkfinalexpense.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
You may allow or decline optional Meta measurement on the public page. Declining does not prevent you from requesting insurance options and does not affect the service you receive. Clearing browser storage may reset the saved choice.
To stop text messages, reply STOP. You may also ask not to be called. Withdrawing contact permission does not affect actions already taken based on your earlier consent.
Children
This website is intended for adults age 18 or older and is not directed to children.
Changes to this notice
Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Insurance carriers provide separate privacy notices when an application is made.
