About Final Expense Options

Clear insurance education. Verifiable licensed review.

Final Expense Options helps residents of Arizona, Ohio, Arkansas, Virginia, and South Carolina understand and compare final expense life insurance by phone. We are not a government agency or insurance carrier.

Request a licensed comparison No charge to request options. No promise of approval.
Our purpose

We explain final expense insurance in plain language, collect a consumer-requested comparison, and connect that request with a licensed producer authorized in the consumer’s state. Educational content does not replace the carrier’s policy, application, underwriting, or approval decision.

How the service works

Independent carrier access with a clear insurance relationship.

John Botello is an independent life insurance broker whose IMO relationship is with Family First Life. The IMO provides contracting and carrier-access support; Final Expense Options does not use Family First Life branding and is not itself an insurance carrier.

Multiple carrier comparison

Available companies and products vary by state, appointment, age, health, requested benefit, and carrier rules. No list of logos guarantees that every applicant can access every product.

No consumer quote fee

There is no charge to request or compare options through this website. If a policy is issued, the assigned producer may receive compensation from the issuing carrier.

No guaranteed outcome

Only a carrier can approve, issue, decline, or modify an application. An agent’s preliminary comparison is not a binder, policy, or promise of coverage.

Policy controls

If any website summary conflicts with a carrier application, illustration, policy, rider, endorsement, or state-required notice, the carrier document controls.

Editorial standards

Useful first. Search visibility second.

We publish pages to answer real insurance-shopping questions, not to create thin variations for search engines.

  • 01
Named review: insurance guides identify the licensed reviewer and link to a profile with an NPN and official verification resources.
  • 02
Source hierarchy: we prefer state insurance departments, NAIC materials, policy or carrier information, and direct legal or industry references. Secondary research is labeled.
  • 03
Rate transparency: public rate examples name the source, date, coverage amount, assumptions, and limits. They are never presented as a personalized quote.
  • 04
Plain-language limits: pages avoid promises that a diagnosis is acceptable, a benefit is immediate, or a premium is guaranteed unless the specific carrier contract establishes it.
  • 05
Material updates: a review date changes only when content, sources, rates, regulations, or product context have been meaningfully checked.

Licensing and verification

Verify the person—not just the website.

Insurance producers must be licensed in the state where they transact insurance. Our reviewer profile provides the National Producer Number and direct links to official state resources.

Licensed reviewer

John Botello, NPN 19572241, reviews the insurance content published here and is licensed in the five states this website currently serves.

State-by-state checks

Use the Arizona, Ohio, Arkansas, Virginia, or South Carolina regulator resources linked from the reviewer and state pages. Search by the assigned producer’s name or NPN.

Carrier authority still varies

A state license does not mean every carrier appointment or product is available. Appointment and product eligibility are checked during an actual application.

Licenses can change

Official regulator records are the current authority. Contact us if a profile statement differs from a regulator’s public record.

Privacy and advertising data

Sensitive request details stay out of advertising events.

The quote funnel asks for health and personal information because those details help a licensed producer prepare an insurance comparison. That does not make advertising platforms an appropriate destination for the answers.

What advertising measurement receives

When permitted by the visitor’s privacy choice, the site may send generic page-view or completed-lead events and non-sensitive campaign identifiers. It is designed not to send health answers, birth date, address, height, weight, banking details, or form-field values to Meta.

What the request process receives

Information entered into the quote request is sent to service providers used to deliver the requested insurance follow-up. Read the Privacy Notice and Insurance Disclosures before submitting.

This website does not claim to be a HIPAA-covered healthcare provider

Life insurance underwriting information still deserves careful handling. Our privacy controls are based on the sensitivity of the information and the services used, not on an unsupported HIPAA marketing claim.

Corrections and contact

Point us to the exact statement.

Email hello@talkfinalexpense.com with the page URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, and a direct supporting source when possible. We review substantive insurance, licensing, pricing, and policy-terminology corrections.

What we correct

Material factual errors, broken regulator links, outdated licensing statements, misleading rate assumptions, unclear advertising disclosures, and language that overstates eligibility.

What a correction does

We update the relevant text, source, and modified date when the evidence supports a change. Minor spelling or formatting edits do not receive a false “freshness” date.
